KGEO-AM 1230's “Your Radio Store” Code of Conduct (DOs and DON'Ts)


Please remember that saving between 30 and 75% on area goods and services carries some responsibility. Here are the things to DO and NOT TO DO with our certificates!

Do:  Read the entire certificate. Be prepared to adhere to ALL the rules stated within.

Don't: Rely solely on what the Host says on-air. Or expect the business to change the conditions of the certificate just because you were unwilling to read it.

 

Do: Spend over the value of the certificate. Remember that you are saving up to 75%.

Don't: Spend less than the value of the certificate and then ask for change. No change will be given. Any consumer caught demanding cash back for the unused portion of the certificate risks having Your Radio Store privileges terminated.

Do: Tip a minimum of 15% of the entire bill at any sit-down restaurant or service oriented business.

Don't: Leave a tip based on only the amount of the overage. You must pay all the tip in cash. If you have not used the entire amount of your certificate, the tip can not be paid for with the balance of the certificate.

Do: Frequent the businesses on Your Radio Store without a gift certificate. Support the businesses that support the program.

Don't: Buy the same item again and again on the program. Please wait at least 30 days before you purchase the same item again. If you become an abuser of the program, you risk discontinuation from our businesses.

Do: Tell the manager of the business that you appreciate their participation and if it were not for "Your Radio Store" you might never have found their business and that you will be back with your own money!

Don't: Tell the manager of the business that you would never be back unless you have a certificate.

Do: Smile and appreciate the fact that you are saving money every day through Your Radio Store and suggest new businesses for us to try to get on the show. Also we love hearing about all of your positive experiences live, on-the-air.

Don't: Call live on the air to complain. All complaints or concerns will be handled by the office staff by calling (661) 328-1410 during normal business hours or (661) 847-1230 before or after Your Radio Store has aired.

Do: Understand that sometimes it does take a few days before a problem can be resolved.

Don't: Demand immediate satisfaction. We must check with our business contacts to get to the source of your concern. Sometimes they are not accessible at the time you come in or contact the office.

Do: Tell all of your friends and family about Your Radio Store and have them visit our website at
www.yourradiostore.com or stop by the office to sign up and start saving money!

Don't: Keep Your Radio Store a secret from your family, friends and co-workers.

 

Do:  Rember that "Your Radio Store" is just like money, please take the same precautions as you would handling your cash.

 

Don't:  Expect any lost or stolen certificates to be replaced by "Your Radio Store". We can not control what happens to a certificate once it leaves our premises.
